Supporting a Loved One with: ANXIETY

10am - 11am PDT

 

Navigating anxiety can be overwhelming alone. In this course, Baz will teach the loved ones of those with anxiety:

 

  • How to recognize the signs of an anxiety disorder

  • How to address this with loved ones

  • Tools to support and help their loved ones 

 

Supporting a Loved One with: DEPRESSION

12pm - 1pm PDT

 

For many, depression feels like an all-consuming shroud. Loving someone who is experiencing depression can feel helpless. In this course within Baz’s Support Series, attendees will learn:

 

  • How to broach the topic of depression with a loved one

  • How to support without overwhelming or pushing away their loved one[s] 

  • When to seek professional intervention

 

Supporting a Loved One with: PTSD

2pm - 3pm PDT

 

By being a source of support and light while your loved one processes their trauma, you can help begin the healing process. In this course, you will learn:

 

  • How to identify the signs of PTSD

  • The various stigmas and misconceptions associated with the disease

  • How to support a loved one through flashbacks, triggers, addiction, depression, and more

 

Supporting a Loved One with: MENTAL ILLNESS

4pm - 5pm PDT

 

We all take care of our bodies every day. Shouldn’t we be taking care of our minds as well? Attendees of this course will learn:  

 

  • How to become proactive about mental health care and encourage others to do the same

  • How to take care of their own minds while supporting their loved ones

  • How to empower loved ones struggling with mental illness
